On Thursday 27th June, Oke built outdoor classroom #46 at Ōtāhuhu School. This was such a great build to celebrate Matariki in 2024. Once again we gave the kids the opportunity to get stuck in early and they built the Birdies raised beds. It was a stunning day for our 46th working bee and we couldn’t have asked for a better bunch of helpers. As well as installing twelve new raised beds, there was a shiny new Garys Garden Shed installed, a Morrifield tunnel house built, shelves assembled for the tunnel house and shed, to store all the new equipment Oke donates to every outdoor classroom. This build was funded by Lotto New Zealand.
