Pakaraka School Working Bee

Saturday, 16th November, marked a milestone for Oke Charity – our first-ever working bee in Northland, and wow, what an epic adventure at Pakaraka School! With the support of the One Good Kiwi fundraiser and One New Zealand, we packed up tools, energy, and a shed (big thanks to Gary’s Garden Sheds for the smooth loading!) and headed north. The weekend was filled with hard work, great vibes, and plenty of laughs as we transformed the school grounds into a vibrant outdoor classroom. Shoutout to Fiona for hosting the Oke crew – your hospitality made the weekend unforgettable! Pakaraka School, welcome to the Oke whānau – we hope your tamariki love their new learning space as much as we loved creating it.
