On 13 August 2025, the Oke Crew and the New Windsor School whānau came together for a full-day working bee that transformed bare ground into a thriving outdoor classroom. Funded through the Auckland Council Ngā Hapori Momoho – Thriving Communities Grant, the project delivered a Morrifield 4m tunnelhouse, Birdies raised beds, a tool shed, fruit trees, and fresh garden mix. The mahi was powered by an amazing crew of volunteers from Oyster Property Group, who worked shoulder to shoulder with teachers, parents, and tamariki to create a vibrant space where kids can learn, connect with nature, and grow their wellbeing and confidence outside the four walls of a classroom.
