On Saturday 26th June, during the magic of Matariki weekend, Ridge View School came alive with the spirit of new beginnings as we held a working bee to remember. With support from the 2024 Auckland Garden DesignFest and a generous shed donation from a school board member, we transformed the school grounds into a flourishing outdoor classroom. The community turned out in force, rolling up their sleeves to build a brand-new tunnelhouse, plant fruit trees, and create a space that will grow both kai and curiosity. The day kicked off with an incredible Matariki breakfast, bringing everyone together to celebrate, connect, and look ahead.
