KingsGate School Working Bee

On Saturday 17th February we built school garden #37 at KingsGate School. This was a fantastic community build which was funded through funds Oke received from a Lottery Grant in 2023, as well as generous donations from Mitre10 Pukekohe. KingsGate School first approached Oke back in April 2023 and continued to work on their garden plans whilst Oke secured the funding. The working bee was a testament to the community ethos of KingsGate School, as we had the largest turn out of volunteers…EVER! It was a very hot day, so we were thankful so many helping hands to get the garden built. We look forward to seeing this garden grow and become part of everyday life at the school.
