Nukumea Primary School Working Bee

On Saturday 6th April, Oke built outdoor classroom #41 at Nukumea Primary School. This was our first ever build in North Auckland and what a way to kick off working in this region by working with the incredible Nukumea School Community. It was a damp day but that didn’t stop the community turning out to help build their new OC. This build was also a celebration, as we kicked off our 5th year of partnering with Dole New Zealand. Oke wouldn’t be what it is today with the support we’ve received from Dole since 2020. We also welcomed the team from The Good Carbon Farm, who Oke will be collaborating with to introduce biochar into our OCs. Such an amazing day.
