Papatoetoe South School

As you may know, the original goal for the Oke Charity was to setup every primary school in Papatoetoe, Auckland, with a school garden. So it was a real pleasure to have another Papatoetoe school jump on board and help Oke head towards this goal. This time it was Papatoetoe South School. It was another amazing turn out of volunteers and once again supported by both Bunnings and Fonterra. The school had an unused space near their swimming pool which was ideal for transforming into an amazing outdoor classroom. As well as raised beds, a compost bin and a tool shed, there was an awesome poly tunnel built to help grow seedlings and summer veggies through winter. A huge thank you to everyone who helped.
