Rongomai School Working Bee

On Saturday 16th March 2024, Oke helped bring the outdoor classroom at Rongomai School back to life, through working bee #39. We wish to acknowledge the passing of Paeariki Mataroa-Johnson, Principal, Rongomai School, who was instrumental in making this space happen. This working bee was testament to the school community which Paeariki had fostered within Rongomai. Our South Auckland Chief Go-Getter, Alisi, did a great job working with the school and it’s community to resurrect these huge raised garden beds. A Garys Garden Shed was also installed, which would be filled with everything the school needs to sustain the outdoor classroom.
